An excellent vetting process.
A carrier team we know.

We don’t hand your vehicle to just any truck that happens to be available. We have an excellent vetting process for the carriers we use, and a team of approved and vetted carriers who have been working for us for years now.

Checked before they haul

Every carrier is vetted before they join our team — licensing, insurance, and authority checked, so your vehicle only goes with a carrier we’ve approved.

Approved & vetted team

Your move is booked with a carrier from our approved and vetted team, not handed out to an unknown operator we’ve never worked with.

Working with us for years

These aren’t one-time hires. Our carriers have been working for us for years now — we know how they haul, how they communicate, and that they do the job right.

What we can move

One car or several, running or not — if it rolls (or even if it doesn’t), ask us about it.

Open Transport

The standard, most affordable way to ship a vehicle — on an open carrier, like the ones that deliver new cars to dealerships.

Enclosed Transport

Full protection from weather and road debris. The right call for classics, exotics, and high-value vehicles.

Pickup & Delivery, Coordinated

We schedule the pickup and the delivery around you, and keep both ends of the move talking to each other until the keys change hands.

Dealer & Auction Moves

Bought or sold a vehicle out of state or at auction? We arrange the move so it gets where it belongs, when it belongs.

Relocation & Snowbird Moves

Moving house, heading south for the winter, or sending a car to a kid at college — we’ll get the vehicle there.

Inoperable Vehicles

Non-running vehicles can still be moved with the right equipment. Just tell us the condition up front so we book it right.

Our story

Since 2013 on the road, hauling automobiles professionally

We’ve been transporting automobiles professionally since 2013. For years, that meant hauling cars ourselves for our regular customers — and doing it right.

In 2021, we started this auto transport brokerage, Your Auto Transport Guy, to accommodate the moves we weren’t able to make ourselves for those regular customers — the trips that needed to go someplace where we weren’t going, or couldn’t make it to. We still haven’t figured out how to be in two places at the same time. 😊

That’s still the idea today: when we can’t haul it ourselves, we turn to our team of approved and vetted carriers — carriers put through our vetting process who have been working for us for years now — and we treat your vehicle the way we’d treat one on our own trailer. If you want it done right, let a gal do it — Christi is your gal.

How it works

Three steps. We handle the middle one — that’s the whole point of a broker.

1

Tell us about the move

Fill out the quote form below: what the vehicle is, where it is, and where it’s going. Christi reviews every request personally.

2

We book the right carrier

We match your vehicle with an approved, vetted carrier from our team — licensed, insured, and checked through our vetting process before they ever haul for us. We agree on a price with you first, and schedule the pickup window.

3

Pickup, transit, delivery

The carrier inspects the vehicle with you at pickup, hauls it to the destination, and inspects it again at delivery. We keep you posted along the way.

Get a free quote

Tell us what you’re moving and where it’s headed. There’s no charge and no obligation — we’ll come back with a price and a timeframe before anything is booked.

Every quote request is reviewed by Christi personally. If the details look off, she’ll ask — that’s how moves get done right.

Transport type
Does the vehicle run?

If your vehicle sits higher or lower than stock, or has add-ons like oversized tires or a roof rack, tell us here — it can change the price and the carrier we book.

Fill this out and we’ll open your email app with your request addressed to YATG.2021@gmail.com, ready to send. If your email doesn’t open, you can copy the request below instead.

Common questions

What does an auto transport broker actually do?

A broker doesn’t haul your car on its own truck. We arrange the move: finding a licensed, insured carrier that’s already running your route, scheduling pickup and delivery, and coordinating the details in between. It’s how a car in North Carolina can get to Texas without waiting for one specific truck to head that way.

How do you vet your carriers?

We have an excellent vetting process for the carriers we book. Every carrier is approved and vetted — licensing, insurance, and authority checked — before they haul for us, and we work with a team of approved and vetted carriers who have been working for us for years now. We know them, and we know how they handle a vehicle.

How is the price figured?

Mostly distance, the size and weight of the vehicle, whether it runs, open vs. enclosed transport, and how busy the route is. That’s why every quote is figured on your actual move — fill out the form and we’ll price yours, free.

How long will my vehicle take to get there?

It depends on the distance and the route. When we quote your move, we’ll give you a realistic pickup window and transit estimate up front, and we’ll be straight with you if a route runs slower than most.

Is my vehicle insured during transport?

The carriers we book carry cargo insurance for the vehicles they haul, and the vehicle is inspected and documented at pickup and again at delivery. If you want the specifics for your move, ask and we’ll walk you through them before you book.

Can I put things in the car?

Carriers generally allow a limited amount of personal items in the trunk, but they aren’t insured and added weight can change the price. Ask us before you load anything, so there are no surprises at pickup.

What do I need to do before pickup?

Wash the car so the inspection notes its true condition, remove personal valuables and toll tags, leave about a quarter tank of fuel, and make sure someone is available at both ends to hand over and receive the keys.
